Northeast Kansas Sports.com and United Bank & Trust have teamed up to recognize area athletes with our new weekly feature called Athlete of the Week.
This week's Athlete of the Week is Axtell senior Joel Ronnebaum who had a big night in the Eagles' 51-37 win on Tuesday against Wetmore. Ronnebaum poured in 25 points, pulled down 14 rebounds, and had two steals. On the season, Joel is averaging 13.4 ppg. & 5.6 rpg. Congratulations to Northeast Kansas Sports.com's first ever athlete of the week, Joel Ronnebaum of Axtell.
