Northeast Kansas Sports.com and United Bank & Trust have teamed up to recognize area athletes with our weekly feature called Athlete of the Week.

This week's Athlete of the Week is Macy Parker of Valley Heights.

Parker has helped lead the Lady Mustangs to a 13-3 overall record and an 8-1 mark in the TVL. She averaged 17 points per game in the Mustangs last 3 games, all victories.  Parker scored 13 against Hanover, 22 in a 15 point win over Wamego, and 15 in a triumph over Clifton-Clyde.

Earlier this season, Parker eclipsed the 1,000 point plateau for her career. She now has scored 1,085 points in her distinguished career and is averaging 15.8 points and 3.5 steals per game. Macy has also been an efficient, shooting 51% from the field, 43% from long range, and 68% from the foul line.
