Northeast Kansas Sports.com and United Bank & Trust have teamed up to recognize area athletes with our weekly feature called Athlete of the Week.

This week's Athlete of the Week is 5'11 Sophomore Tara Ellerman of ACCHS.

Ellerman has been a key component in the Lady Tiger's 11-6 record.  Tara averaged 18.3 points her last three games, all wins for ACCHS.  On February 9th, she scored 16 in a victory over MH-MA. Last Friday, she poured in 20 in a win over Jefferson West,  and on Tuesday, she scored a game high 19 points in a 45-36 triumph over Nemaha Valley. On the season, she is averaging 10.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest.
