Five local athletes have been selected to play in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All Star Games August 6^th at Lee Arena in Topeka. 

Competing for the North girls team will be Melissa Nelson of Holton and Lauren Henry of Blue Valley Randolph. Selected for the boys North squad is Anthony Downing of Atchison, Patrick Schulte of Nemaha Valley and Jordan Broxterman from Frankfort. 

               The KBCA also announced that the 1984 Troy state championship boys basketball team will be honored and inducted into the Hall of Fame.
