Congratulations to Adam Kenworthy of the Frankfort Wildcats on being named the Northeast Kansas Sports Athletes of the Week.

Adam got his senior season started right as he helped the Frankfort Wildcats come from behind to beat the Onaga Buffalos 42-34 to win its season opener. He was a huge part to the teams success as he was a true work horse on offense carrying the ball 37 times for 224 yards and 5 touchdowns. He threw for another 37 yards on 5 completions. He was also a big role on defense as had 6 takles and recovered a piviotal 4th quarter fumble as the Wildcats held Onaga to 6 points after halftime.
