Congratulations to Blake Plattner and Trae Snyder of the Sabetha Bluejays on being named the Northeast Kansas Sports Athletes of the Week.

Blake and Trae helped the Sabetha Bluejays to a 2-0 start after a big come from behind win over Holton 25-22. The first win against Holton since 2007. Holton was in firm control 22-8 at halftime but Sabetha held the Wildcats to just 47 total yards of offense in the second half. A late fumble recovery set up a 28 yard Bluejay field goal with 9 seconds left. Plattner lead the way carrying the ball 15 times for 138 yards and touchdown while Snyder added 23 carries for 128 yards and a touchdown as well.
